Obituary

Mrs. Vivian Lucille Kenney Strong, known to many as Bobbie. Daughter of the late Alice Grace Kenney and Robert William Kenney. Bobbie was lovingly raised by her mother and Richard James Kenney her fathers’ brother. Bobbie was born August 2, 1943 in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania. She quietly departed this life Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at home with her daughters by her side.

She attended various schools but was the proudest of being a graduate of Pennsbury Highschool in Fairless Hills, Pa. Bobbie attended Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware working towards a Business Administration degree. She was united in holy matrimony to Edward Joseph Strong III on March 17, 1962. This union was blessed with 3 children. Edward preceded her in death on April 15, 1990.

At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ. Her life long hope was that everyone come to salvation and a relationship with Christ. Her Christian life was generous and giving, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. As a result of her generous spirit and wonderful sense of humor, she was loved by many.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Allison Ann Strong Finkelstein, Susan Lynn Strong Heierbacher, Jacquelyn Francine Strong Saunders. Sons-in-law William “David” Saunders and Michael Heierbacher; 8 grandchildren. Sister, Susan Kenney Hansen, Alburtis, Pa; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday November 21, 2020 from 10:00-11:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bobbie’s name to Samaritan’s Purse International Relief (www.samaritanspurse.org).
