NASON, Vincent J. died on May 3, 2020 with his loving wife by his side.
Vincent was the beloved husband of Theresa Nason (nee Flynn) and the
loving father of Christopher Nason and Ryan Nason, as well as Ryan’s
fiancée Melanie Dotts. Dearly loved brother of Jeffrey Nason (Aimee), John
Nason (Denise) and dear nephew of Mary Alice Singer (Noel). Additionally,
he is survived by his wife’s sisters, Susan Pflug (David), Barbara Coomber
(Jim), and Jean McNiff (Tom) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Vincent was born on September 2, 1955 at Keesler Air Force Base in
Biloxi, Mississippi. His family later moved to Spotswood, NJ where he spent
his formative years. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in South
Amboy, Vincent attended Rutgers University where he received both his
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Vincent then embarked on a successful
career in the Packaging industry, working for a number of Fortune 500
companies that included Ocean Spray, Campbell Soup, Hershey Foods,
and Post Foods. Most recently, he was a Packaging Consultant for
Nature’s Bounty.

While Vincent was proud of his professional accomplishments, they failed
in comparison to the joy he felt coaching his sons’ sports teams. As Chris

and Ryan grew older and Vince was replaced by high school and then
college coaches, he became their Number 1 fan. He spent countless hours
cheering on his sons at football fields and baseball diamonds along the
Eastern seaboard. When not playing sports, Vincent and his sons enjoyed
rooting for the New York Yankees and watching college football –
especially Rutgers games. His sons were his “buddies” and they will miss
him dearly. So too will his circle of family and friends who were touched by
Vincent. He truly was a gentle giant.

Due to the current state of the world, services will be held privately. Anyone
caring to honor Vincent’s memory is encouraged to make a donation to his
beloved church family – St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 27 Kresson
Gibbsboro Road, Gibbsboro, NJ 08026 – or

Our Condolences to Chris and the entire Nason Family.

I had only met Chris’s ( we call him Nase) Dad once a few years back at a College hoops game where me and my son Chad were at. All I do know is that Nase had a very strong bond with his Dad, very similar to me and my son Chad, especially when it came to the Yankees, Giants, and UCONN Huskies!

My wife Donna and I, along with my entire family are always so impressed with Nase’s passion for sports, but more importantly, his caring and loving touch he displays non stop when people don’t expect it.

I share that observation because it seems after reading about his Dad, they both seem to share the same Positive Quality Traits, that both his Parent's would be very proud of.

It sounds like Nase is a chip off the old block, and we know his Dad is now resting in peace with Nase looking out for his Mom, brother and other loved ones in the entire Nason Family.

God Bless you all.

Chuck, Donna, and the entire Reynolds Family
