Robert Paganelli, of Medford, passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 68. He was surrounded by the love of his life, Cheryl Paganelli (nee Hobbs), and his three loving children, Daniel Paganelli (Monica), Lisa Paganelli King (Brandon), and Maria Paganelli.
Born in 1952 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY, on March 21st (the first full day of Spring) to the late Thomas and Dorothy Paganelli, Robert (Bob) lived a life that he considered "truly blessed". After a childhood of trips with his loving family and summer days spent by the ocean with family in Houghs Neck, Massachusetts - or at Lake Shore Country Club - Bob left Syracuse, NY, to attend St. Lawrence University, in Canton, NY. Bob then worked at General Electric after graduation for about ten years before moving his family to New Jersey and joining Inolex Chemical Company in Philadelphia, where he worked until his retirement as President of the company.
Bob wanted everyone to know that while his time on earth would be shorter than he and all of his family and friends would have liked, he was truly truly blessed with a full life of love, cherished family, great friends, amazing travels, and many adventures. He was married to his best friend and sweetheart, Cheryl, for 42 years, and along with their children had a lifetime of fond memories, laughter, and fun. Bob felt so lucky to have their three children and then four amazing grandchildren, whom he would visit and play with and chase around often - and who all share that same mischievous twinkle Bob had in his eye. He was an avid and life-long traveler - Bob traveled to 50 countries - and golfer, boater, fine food lover, and adventurer. He always said his best career move was retiring early at the age of 52 to be able to spend time with his family and friends - of which we are all so truly thankful.
Bob was also a man of great faith, and spent much of his life dedicated to and involved with spreading God's love through youth groups, missionary trips, running indoor soccer leagues, and various outreach and charity programs, touching many lives and making many lifelong friends.
Bob is survived by his wife Cheryl, whom he loved every second of every day, his oldest son Daniel (Danny) Paganelli and Daughter-in-Law Monica Paganelli and their two children Esmeralda Paganelli and Apollo Paganelli, his daughter Lisa Paganelli King and Son-in-Law Brandon King and their two children Tyler King and Layla King, and his daughter Maria Paganelli, as well as his older sister Dorothy McCallister (Dr. Robert), and younger sister Nancy Chernak (Jon). He was preceded in passing by his late brother, Tom Paganelli.
