Robert John Emmons, of Marlton, passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 26. Beloved son of Gregory and Renee Emmons. Loving brother of Colby and Macgregor Emmons. Dear grandson of Christine Hallam, Dolores Olivieri, Robert Olivieri (Maryanne), and the late John Emmons. Robert is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Robert graduated on the dean’s list from Cherokee High School in 2012. He received a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity. He was proud to be employed as an IT Analyst at Penn Medicine. Robert enjoyed reading and writing. Harry Potter books were amongst his favorites and he had the opportunity to tour the grounds of its inspiration while vacationing in England in June of 2019. Robert immensely enjoyed attending classes at South Jersey Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the people he met there. His wonderful girlfriend, Demi had encouraged him to indulge in hiking, traveling and visiting museums. He valued all his friends he had growing up and enjoyed socializing with them in his free time. He was the first grandchild born into our family and was loved and cherished by all of us.
May our beloved Robert rest in peace and take with him the love that we hold in our hearts forever.

You got a friend in me buddy. Where to begin. One faithful day in High School, there was a new kid who was trying to find his place and you stopped him in the hallway to say hi and help guide him. Throughout senior year, it was having fun chats, helping him come up with corny jokes to use especially with Mr. Cherokee. In College, it was just life advice and continually being a great friend and someone who could bring people together from all walks of life. You were the best of us and now you are at peace. Rob, I was that kid and you were my friend and I will never forget you my friend and I love ya man! “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.”
