Obituary

Quinzell Champagne, Sr. passed away at his home in Willingboro, NJ on March 27, 2020. He was 65 years old. He was born on May 2, 1954 to James and Juanita Champagne. He is lovingly survived by his children; Zanisha Welch, Quinzell Champagne, Jr., Carlo Champagne, Xavier Champagne and Darien Champagne, his former wife; Suzanne Beasley Champagne, his grandchildren; Jesus, Milan, Aliyah, Nyla and Liberti and his siblings; Ricardo, Dorsey, John, Florence, and Jose Champagne. He will be especially missed by his 2 best friends, Tony Horn and Tony Winbush. Quinzell grew up in Philadelphia, graduated from Bok High School and attended Temple University. Along with his family, he proudly owned and operated Walnut Hill Seafood Restaurant and Champs Pest Control before venturing into the legal field where he worked as an advisor for 25 years. He loved to bring his family and loved ones together and got the most joy in life from seeing his family and friends happy. His love and generosity was beyond measure and was felt deeply throughout his community where he was a father figure and mentor to many.
A loyal and lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, Quinzell used Sundays as not just a time to watch football but a day of camaraderie and togetherness.
We will always remember the countless family parties, BBQ's, and Sunday dinners where his love and energy was infectious and was felt by everyone he shared time with. Quinzell has a spirit that is larger than life and that spirit will live on for eternity. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Champagne Family and mailed to P.O. Box 364 Marlton NJ 08053

My condolences to the family. I would love to share some bible scriptures that can bring you comfort at this time and a wonderful hope of seeing your love one again. Acts 24:15” There is going to be a resurrection “. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4” Comfort when loved ones die” Hebrews 2:15” Freedom from morbid fear of death” John 5:28,29” A real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones”. God is the Creator of life. The Bible calls Jehovah God “the source of life” (Psalms 36:9; Acts 17:24,25) The One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. Jehovah hates death, he views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) He has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again-Job 14:14,15.
Sincerely,
Liz Wall
