Murphy, Martin, passed away on September 20, 2020. He was 90 years old and a
resident of Haddonfield, NJ (prior to Haddonfield, he was also a resident of Green
Brook, NJ and Bayonne, NJ). Martin was the husband of 56 years to the late Ruth
Murphy (nee Wagner, originally of Fulda, Germany), father of Linda Dilger (Bruce),
Diane Goldstein (Kevin), Robert Murphy, and John Murphy (Chris), grandfather of 4
granddaughters and 3 grandsons, and great-grandfather of 2.  One of four siblings, he
is predeceased by his brother, John, and survived by his sisters Rose Skelly and Patsy
Solas. Martin served proudly in the US Army in post-war Germany during the Korean
War. He was a sales engineer in the steel industry for many years. He enjoyed bowling
and playing golf, watching baseball, and solving puzzles (especially crossword and
jigsaw puzzles). His graveside service will be held privately at the Brigadier General
William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bradley Funeral Home, Marlton, NJ.  Donations
in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Grace Hospice at Grace
Healthcare Service, 105 Fieldcrest Avenue, Suite 402, Edison, NJ  08837.
