Obituary

Marie “Kitty” Biggs

Kitty Sadly passed away in her home, on March 28, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Kitty, being the feisty lady she was, fought her cancer long and valiantly and showed us all true courage and grace. Kitty was born in Philadelphia, on March 22, 1942, to Ethel and Jim McLaughlin. She was the fourth of five daughters. She is predeceased by her parents and her sisters, Ella and Betty.
Kitty is survived by her loving sisters, Nancy McLaughlin and Helen Kulpa (Joe) and her two beautiful daughters Kathleen Savage and Colleeen Cummings. Kitty left behind seven loving grandchildren, Samantha (Mychal), Erika, Tabatha, Francesca, Aidan, Sophie and Grady, and her newest angel, great grandson Giovanni “Gio”.
Kitty grew up in Philadelphia, PA and attended Little Flower High School, graduating in 1960, where she made lifelong friends. She worked for the Philadelphia Contributionship and also World Savings Bank. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the Jersey Shore and traveled as much as possible. One of her favorite past times was laughing with her daughters over a nice glass of Moscato and seeing her grandchildren grow.
As sad as we are without our Sister, Mother, Grandmom/Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend, we all know she will forever be in our hearts and watching over us all.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Queen of Peace, Mt. Laurel, NJ (date to be announced), followed by a Celebration Luncheon.
Please sign your name in the Memory Wall.
