No one could have had a better sister, that's because she was my best friend. She was always there for me in the bad times, but mostly I remember the very, very good times. Laughing so hard we have tears coming down, and people thought "Look at those crazy old ladies", but we didn't care. I am so fortunate to have had her in my life

Grandmom I never thought this time would come so soon. We were just texting with eachother and I was sure you would be ok, you had to be. Its hard to imagine life without you. The family, the beach, holidays, summers. You were brazenly independent to the very end. You were kind, funny, and brutally honest. You didn’t sugarcoat anything and spoke your mind on all accounts. I will especially miss your commentary at family gatherings and just about life in general. You always made me laugh. You had endless stories about endless things. You loved old hollywood, old movies, and honest people. When you spoke people listened because you were just really interesting. You were never one for long mushy goodbyes. But in the last couple of years I had broken you down. I almost always got a hug (which you weren’t particularly fond of) and some would even say you went “soft”. Growing up you never had a shortage of at least 20 teenage boys and girls sprawled all over your house when the summer months approached. We had a blast all those summers, and you gave us a run for our money. You were the most unique one of a kind witty grandmother, sister, and friend. You will never be forgotten, and when we are all sitting around at family gatherings I will laugh to myself when I think “what would grandmom have said” and maybe even say it out loud like you would have. I know theres bravo and cigarettes in heaven and I think even one of those little solitaire electronic games with your name on it. We will be loving you from afar now, I will miss you greatly and you will always live on in all of us who were lucky enough to call you Grandmom. 🤍 love kris
