Gloria P. Kelbon (nee Panaccione), of Mount Laurel and Margate, New Jersey, passed
away peacefully on September 20, 2020 after a short illness. She was 90 years old.
Devoted wife of the late Edward J. Kelbon Sr. Loving mother of Edward J. Kelbon Jr., Esq. and
his wife Regina Kelbon, Esq., as well as Lorraine Gersbach (nee Kelbon) and her
husband Peter Gersbach. She was the proud grandmother of Ashley Turco and her
husband Russell Turco, Dr. Nicole Kelbon and her husband Dr. James Brandt, Melissa
Cattai and Kristen Kelbon. She was the caring great grandmother of Ellie Turco.
Gloria also loved her step-grandchildren - Charlie Gersbach, his wife Catherine and
children Juniper, Owen and Jeremy; Matthew Gersbach, his wife Cindy and children
Miles and Olivia; and Amy Mosser, her husband Steve and children Grant and Colin.
Along with her husband Ed, Gloria was the owner of Carbide Tool Grinding Service,
Inc. in Philadelphia and Fernwood, PA for almost 40 years. The tools their company
produced were used for everything from fixing power generators to drilling rivet
holes in helicopters and planes. She was a working mom before that term was
invented, but she always put her family first. Before her husband’s passing, they
took many trips with their children and grandchildren. They also spent many happy
summers at their home in Margate.
Gloria was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and a Phillies season ticket holder for over
35 years. She was in the Spectrum when the Flyers won their first Stanley Cup in
1974, at Veteran’s Stadium when the Phillies won the World’s Series in 1980 and at
Citizens Bank Park when they won again in 2008. When she was not at the games,
she was in front of her TV watching them. Thankfully, she lived long enough to see
the Eagles finally win the Super Bowl.
Gloria lived a long and happy life. Those who knew her, will never forget her.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday September 25th from 8:15-
10:15 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd, Marlton, NJ. Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday at St. Joan of Arc Church,
Marlton, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. Donations
can be made in Gloria’s name to the American Cancer Society

Dear Ed and Lorraine,
Your Mom was such a beautiful and talented woman. I constantly admired her strength of purpose in everything she did and her deep love for her family. I always looked forward to seeing her and chatting with her. She never ended a conversation without asking about Santino, and she was very compassionate to me when my Mother was ill. I recently listened to a phone message that she had left me right after Mother's Day, and I'm just sorry that she was not able to enjoy a few more years of happiness. You were fortunate to have had her for your Mom. God bless her.
Love, Cathi (Sevy and Santino)
