BOUCHER, Elizabeth “Beth” (nee Bond) Passed away on April 25, 2020 with her family by her side. Age 53. Of Marlton, NJ. Devoted wife of Michael Boucher. Adoring mother of Casey Boucher. Caring daughter of the late Albin and Loretta Bond. Dear sister of the late Debbie Homitz. Beloved daughter-in-law of Terry Sr. and Helen Boucher and sister-in-law of Terry Jr. (David Kiffer). Dear aunt of Rachel Gonsauls (Justin). Beth will also be missed by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends, co-workers and students.
Beth loved nature and enjoyed the time she spent viewing wildlife. She would stop whatever she was planning or doing to take time and snap a photo of the smallest flower to the majesty of an endless landscape. Some of her fondest memories were of her childhood summers she spent at her cousin’s farmhouse in Northeast, Pennsylvania, where she would immerse herself in nature. Beth spent twenty one years as a dedicated and passionate English Teacher at Lenape Regional High School where she was also a class of 1985 graduate. She enjoyed and looked forward to daily interactions with students and greatly missed sharing a classroom with them this year. Beth also graduated from Glassboro State College in 1989 with a degree in Journalism, and was a very active member of Theta Pi Omicron Sorority where she found lifelong friends and sisters.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, funeral services at this time will be held privately. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. If desired memorial donations may be made to Autism Speaks at

Gone From My Sight

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!"

"Gone where?"

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear the load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!" There are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: "Here she comes!"

-Henry Van Dyke

Mrs Boucher had 4 of our 5 sons at Lenape. All of them have wonderful memories of their time with her. Our youngest son, Jack, talked about Mrs. B all of the time. She had a profound impact on him. He would tell us about how she helped him in English and inspired him to read. She taught him how to think through essay writing and how to think through persuasive writing. All of our sons remember her as being kind, gentle and understanding. She made a difference to all of them that will last the rest of their lives
