Obituary

Carol E. Fries
Of Marlton, NJ
(nee Rawson) passed away on October 11, 2020. She was 82 years old. Beloved wife of the late Norman Donald "Don" Fries. Loving mother of Steve Fries and Don G. Fries (Doreen). Devoted grandmother of Kelsey Fries and dear sister of Marcia Hannan (Jack). Carol was a very creative floral designer at Deerberry Flower Shoppe in Marlton, NJ for many years. She was also a champion of animals and wildlife. Due to the Covid-19 situation, funeral services will be held privately for immediate family and Carol will be buried with her husband at Brigadier General Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Regulations at the cemetery only allow for one floral piece to be placed on the gravesite, therefore, in lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, donations in Carol's memory may be made to Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, 4 Sawmill Rd., Medford, NJ 08055 or to Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Rd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.

I have so many fond memories of my Aunt Carol and Uncle Don. Weekends in Somers Point, and family gatherings. Aunt Carol was always kind to us and others around her. She was a compassionate woman, loved people, animals and a good story. One particular memory we have of her was we took her to visit her shore house a few years ago and she called into the the back yard and rabbits came out to see her. She truly was amazing. We will miss her. Rest in peace Aunt Carol.
