MATTHEWS, Antione, died suddenly on August 21, 2020. He was 24 years old. Antione was taken from this life way too soon, but in a short time he loved and was loved by many. He is the beloved son of Lori-Kim Jones and Antione's step father, Trent Jones, dearly loved brother of Ashley Jones and Jade Jones and cherished uncle of Aubrey Jones. Dear nephew of Robert Jr. and Tracey McGriff and Francisco Jr. and Maryann Victa and loving cousin of Cisco Victa, Kristina Parke, Corky Brown, Robbie McGriff III, Jennifer Brown, Michelle DeCraene, and Taylor Strode. He is also survived by his father, Wayne Matthews and brother, Wayne Matthews and many loving family members and friends.
Antione was raised in Voorhees and educated in the Voorhees public school system graduating from Eastern High School in 2014. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Photography from Palm Beach Atlantic University. At the present time, he was working on completing an internship. He was documenting, in word and photo, the life within homeless shelters. Antione loved life from a young age and was involved in many activities. He enjoyed and mastered many sports; soccer, lacrosse, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, waterskiing and most recently he loved to surf. He also loved his dog, Kodak who will miss him dearly. Most of all, Antione will be remembered for his love of life, his ability to light up a room and be a friend to anyone. With that in mind, please wear bright colors or your favorite Hawaiian shirt to celebrate his life together.
Due to the current pandemic, there are some limitations on gatherings. At this time, we are able to socially distance and have a gathering of 100 people within the funeral home. If you are a friend of Antione's and the Jones family, please pay your respects on Saturday August 29 from 12-1pm - if you are a family member, please pay your respects on Saturday from 1-2pm. A service to celebrate Antione's life will be held on Saturday August 29 at 2pm for family and close friends. Services will be held at the Bradley Funeral Home 601 Rt. 73 South at Evesham Road in Marlton. We ask everyone to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
