DiCHURCH, Anna Diamond, of Marlton NJ, died peacefully surrounded by her family on May 19, 2020. She was 99; just a few months short of her 100th birthday. She was the wife of the late James DiChurch. Loving mother of Sandy Ranoldo and her husband, the late Tony Ranoldo, Janet Seward and her husband, Dennis and Judy Rehn and her husband, Jerry. Beloved grandmother of 7 grandchildren, Jim Ranoldo, Tony Ranoldo, Jr. (Joan), Kevin Seward (Jenn), Denise Schmied (Mike), Matthew Rehn, Michael Rehn (Ali) and Steven Rehn and 6 great grandchildren, Joseph and Gigi Ranoldo, Justin, Nicholas and Juliana Schmied and Sophia Rehn. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Diamond, as she is lovingly known by all who knew her, grew up in South Philadelphia. She and her husband married and resided in different places from Philadelphia to Florida to South Jersey before settling in Marlton in 1963. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and 3 daughters and also proudly worked along the way; doing everything from Rosie the Riveter to working in the high school cafeteria. Diamond was a seamstress by trade and her training served her and many well. During the war with her experience on sewing and button machines, she was able to teach co-workers how to use and run their similar machines. Along with her husband, Jim, she owned and operated Diamond's Snack Bar in Maple Shade and managed the books for Jim's Service Stations. She spent many years in the cafeteria at Cherokee High School, not only feeding but taking care of the kids. She was a volunteer for her community working the polls at election time and founding and active member of St. Joan of Arc Church where she raised her family and gave back to the community of the church. She was a pillar of her community and her family and she will be dearly missed. Services will be held privately for the family and Mrs. DiChurch will be buried next to her husband at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin. Donations may be made in Diamond's memory to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton NJ 08053.
