Obituary for Michael Calvin Francis Schuenemann

Michael Calvin Francis Schuenemann
SCHUENEMANN, Michael Calvin Francis. On January 9, 2019 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Of Berlin, NJ. Age 41. Adoring husband of Lauren (nee Lemons). Devoted father of Jacob, Leah and Emily. Caring son of Robert and Elizabeth Schuenemann. Loving brother of Robert Schuenemann Jr. (Marisa) and the late Amy Voorhees. Dear son-in-law of Donald Sr. and Virginia Lemons and brother-in-law of Andrea Lemons and Donald Jr. (Lena). Michael will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, students, friends and his jack russell “Winnie”.
Michael was born and raised in Berlin and loved playing high school tennis, where he earned four varsity letters and later graduated with a Master’s Degree from LaSalle University. He turned that love for playing tennis into his passion for coaching it. He coached the boys and girls varsity tennis teams at Washington Township High School, where he was a special education and history teacher, and last year won the 2018 Gloucester County Girls Tennis Championship. He enjoyed traveling, finding adventure, country music and always supported his Philadelphia 76ers. His greatest joy and passion for life came from his wife and three children though, he didn’t give up and fought hard to spend as much time with them as possible.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday January 18th from 4-8 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday at St. Simon Stock Parish, 178 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made in Michael’s memory through In Memory Of for the Schuenemann Children Memorial Fund at www.inmemof.org/bradley http://www.inmemof.org/bradley
